Do you think dye can be purchased locally? Something UV? Id hate to order something thats only a couple bucks and pay shipping on top.

Particulate based dyes like food coloring destroy the seal rings on Lang pump (like the D4/650, D5/655, and DDC/350) and cause the impeller to be damaged and leak.

That makes the most sense yet. I imagine the Mag pumps are unaffected though. I guess I won't be using food coloring after I install the D4.

I have no idea where to start looking. I dont want to just drive around all day till I find a place that carries it. Where did you get yours from?
