A day ago I had a working system with the following components:

1. DZ87KLT-75K motherboard with Haswell processor, in EFI mode
2. Nvidia GTX 680 connected to two dell displays via DP daisy chain
3. Intel 710 SSD
4. ~3 HDDs of assorted types
5. Keyboard and mouse connected to USB hub in dell monitor
6. Corsair RM650i

I added two HDDs and the system stopped booting, but it would post into BIOS. I tried restarting, and still no luck. The POST code display tends to hang at 0012. So I removed the battery and reset the BIOS. Did not help.

So now I have removed the graphics card, the SSD, the HDDs, and plugged the keyboard + mouse into the board directly, and use the HDMI for the onboard graphics. Still get hang at post 0012 with no video output.

I can get into the BIOS using the back2bios button, but I can't actually boot into an OS. The BIOS also doesn't seem to recognize several of my HDDs.

Any ideas on:
1. How to get back into Windows with an intact system?
2. What the problem is?

Code 0012 is date and time not set.
Replace your CMOS battery.
Set the time and date, and set your boot order to the HD that has your OS on it.

1. I cannot get into BIOS without using the Back2BIOS.
2. I used B2B to go back and reset the time and clock.
3. I am still getting 0012 and no splash or video through regular boot mode

BTW how do you know what the post codes are?

Thanks!
