So my GTX 570 keeps crashing everytime I play a game, I reinstalled windows, I reinstalled drivers, clean install as well. But still it crashes. Is my video card just toast? I threw in my old GTS 250 and nothing is crashing. I'd say the GTX 570 is about 3 years old now. Just wondering if I should just forget about it and buy a new one or is there anything else I should try first.

no idea what TIM is, I cant find a model number but the product number is 012-p3-1573-ar

That part number has a lifetime warranty.

TIM is thermal interface material, it goes between the die and the heatsink.
It can dry out over time, causing overheating and therefore crashes.

but that lifetime is only if you registered it properly when purchased. If not it should default to a 3 yr I believe. Check it out on EVGA's website.
