Between foxit reader and adobe i swear i never get any hits of words i search for...

Does yours work properly ? do you use different pdf reader ?

:bang head

As long as the document has been OCR'd it works for me in Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat.

Ahh thats pretty much what word does when trying to convert to a doc right ?

where could one find this feature in Adobe ? (meanwhile ill try to google.. ready ..set go !!! )

Right, it's kind of like if you had a graphic inside a word processor. You couldn't do CTRL+F to find a word if that word is inside a picture instead of the word processor text.

The mot famous converter from pictures to text is OmniPage Professional. Please post when you come across cheaper alternatives.

And by the way, the two pdf programs to be considered as alternatives to Adobe Reader are

PDF-XChange Viewer

and the simplest and most secure:
Sumatra PDF

Dang wasnt looking forward to paying anything ...lol

I seen some online stuff but max file size crumples that situation into a little tiny ball ..

I would be nice if there was free OCR software to convert pictured words to text format.
