That's one way to fix it, yaFixed
Looking forward to examination...Because YES you do need it.. I'm not following you to 100K PPD.I should have my head examined and don't ask why
I had 2 fans on my 3080 ti take a crap 2 weeks after I got it, they sounded like they had sand in the bearings. I sent a video to evga support along with the usual details and they sent me 3 replacement fans. I've never had any issue with evga products but the fan issue seems to be common.another card with fan failure, I may just replace all EVGA 3080's with Gigabyte 4070's.. Got 1 EVGA RTX 3080 with 1 fan down.
Buy a couple hundred of them...Looks like I'll be buying stock in GPU fans, I'm getting fan failing left and right.
I may be down for a week or 2 getting these fixed.
I feel bad for you dude. After looking at the broken fans, the plastic where the fan blades attaches to the axle of fan weakened and broke on the RTX 2080 and RTX 3080's
