Just picked up an additional gigabyte GTX460 for $50 on craigslist. Works fine but MAN did I pick up some temps. I have the Thermaltake soprano 1000 case which isnt the worst but it is from 2008. My top video card fan sits about half a pencil width away from the back of the bottom card so while gaming I was hitting 70c on the bottom card and hit 95c on top!

To the point....

Undid the locks that keep cards in place(on case), Folded a piece of paper a bunch put it in the middle of the two cards to separate them a bit. About a half inch now and my temps went down to 70c on bottom and 75-80 on top!

dunno about any sidepanel fans you have, but you'll have to put in some airflow & pressure

lucky the 460 is designed to run hot :)
