Yeah as per what I said in PM, was going to mention that website since it is the only site I see so far that has the FX-6350 cpu for sale in tray mode because it is normally only a system builder cpu. But it sure has some pumped up specs compared to the FX-6300 and should be since it moves from 95TDP to 125TDP.

Makes me wonder how much better, if any, it will overclock than the 6300. May be largely just a 6300 set to a higher frequency and starting voltage at the factory.

They were released to OEMs the same time as the DIY cpus last Oct I believe was the date the FX-8350s, 8320s, FX-6300s and all were available. They definitely have a higher TurboCore and not to mention a higher TDP, so I would expect them to be fairly stout. The OEMs are so cheap on mobos that I would not have exepected such an option going straight to the OEMs but they did and I expect they are binned right on the money for the OEMs due the motherboards they use. Probably better cpu than we think at first.

You will remember how AMD originally rated some of their Zambezi chips at 95W TDP and later raised it to 125W for the same models. I'm presuming they discovered that they really needed more vcore to be stable.
