I am pleased to report that the beta bios works on the M4A89GTD Pro USB3 for FX processors. I am running an FX-8120 CPU on the board. Unless you care about having hypertransport 3.1 over 3.0 I don't see the point of not running FX on this board. If you're buying new then AM3+ of course. But it's great to know it runs with no problems at all. If any of you decide to run it make sure to download the hotfixes for scheduling/core parking.
