I just got a g0 revision q6600 in the mail from Newegg and the VID is 1.3250v which I know is not ideal, but I'm not looking to OC that far. Ideally, I would be able to get this thing to 3.33 like my e6300 is currently, but no amount of voltage seems to help.

I wonder if anyone else has experience with the rev 1.0 and OC'ing quads on it. It overclocks an e6300 from 1.86 to 3.33 brilliantly, but something is weird with a quad.

My system consists of a 965p ds3 rev 1.0 with the f13 bios, corsair 1.9v ram that ran at 475x2 on the e6300, and a scythe ninja with a silverstone fan.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

p965 isnt good for for ocing quads... the best way to eqate things is P965=early 680i for quad core ocing. you need a board based on P3x/P4x or a 7 series from NV.
