Gateway laptop driver problem.

Well, I am trying to get drivers on a Gateway 7330GZ. I thought I was making the same mistake that I was making on the IBM thinkpad, but no luck so far. I downloaded the drivers from this site: http://support.gateway.com/support/...etwork DriversVersion: 3.63.0.0&uid=156467487

I followed the instructions, and no luck. I downloaded it again just in case I got a bad download and no luck.

Any ideas on what to do?

So what doesn't work? What do you get in this directory C:\Cabs\?

Thanks for your time. I get this C:\Cabs\9528154 which from my understanding is what I am supposed to get. But it does not install.

Is there anything in the folder? From reading how to install, you suppose to go to device manager, select device that you want driver to be installed. Then click update driver and guide to specific location.

There are five folders and 13 files in the c:\Cabs\9528154 folder. I tried reinstalling the driver, as the instructions said, and browsed to the correct folder. Will not install. Any ideas? There has to be something simple I am missing.
