Hey guys I have a Gateway M250E notebook with the 915GM express chipset.
The current processor is a Celeron M 360J. I want to swap a Pentium M in place of the Celeron, but have a few questions. My Celeron has 479 pins, will a Pentium M chip like a 740 fit if it only has 478 pins? I assume it won't but I can't seem to find any 479 pin Pentium M chips around. I want to use a Pentium M so I can underclock and undervolt it to get as much battery life as I can. All I use the computer for is internet and word processing.
Thanks!
