Hi guys this is my first post here, and was referred to a friend, so be nice
So, I have a couple of questions regarding the motherboard in the title above:
1 - I've heard some really bad things about the Gigabyte 990 boards (UD5/UD7 mostly), and was wondering if the UD3 suffers from those issues? Vdroop and really wonky BIOSes to be exact?
2 - I have ordered it and received it late last week, but haven't had time to install it yet (that's the plan for tomorrow actually), but am now second guessing my purchase decision. Should I keep it, see how it is? Or return it and get a different board?
I've always liked Giga-boards, and have never had any issues with them. If someone recommends to return this board for something else, please don't suggest an ASUS board. I had some really bad troubles with tech support from them about a year ago (I was hung up on by 2 reps ....), and have boycotted their products (unless someone gives a REALLY compelling argument as to why I should use their stuff again....)
Anyway, what should I do? I have a 1090 right now, and plan on ordering a BDzer once they launch (hopefully later this month).
