Sam_Yeah, the P35C is a hybrid but the straight P35 is just DDR2.
Interestng that your having trouble with OCing a quad on it pinky33, i dont think iv heard much about anyone else having problems, you tried all the usual things like BIOS updates and trying different voltages etc?
An update on mine, i killed it . I didnt insulate it enough aparently, so gigabyte rejected the RMA . I bought an abit P35 pro and it seems to be working very well.
I just ordered the P35C-DS3R, no idea what Revision it is.
Just wondering if anyone has seen the Load Calibration option in the Bios (F9 or F10) that it mentions in over at Station drivers, in the bios list. Link provided.
Bios F10
Quote:
* 1. ADD new version super I/O code.
2. Speicheradress BUG beseitigt
3. Loadline Calibration Auto-Disabled-Enabled (nur DS4)
* beta BIOS:update CPU ID

I wonder if it's just a miss print or for another DS3 board.
Read the whole thread, Shame to here your board died twice Sam
And Pinky that's some crazy volts your putting through you CPU
Good thread!
Edit: Ah, just read me post and seen the '(nur DS4)' maybe it's DS4 only?
Also, does anyone have the P35C-DS3R running a quad at 3.6ghz, on air or water?
What voltages are you running for cpu/nb/ram/fsb etc?
