I had my video card out of the case recently because it was a very noisy fan, dusted it off (they don't have holes for oil these days it seems) and now it's fine. However I lost one of the screws with springs holding the heatsink down. Is it still going to make enough contact with the heatsink and thermal paste to not worry about overheating? The other three screws have it held down pretty tight.

3 out of 4 and you'll probably be ok but it would drive me crazy... Try to salvage a screw from an older similar video card.

If temps are same as before you are probably okay, but I would still get a replacement screw & spring.
