Mobo ~ DH61WW
CPU ~ G620 2.6Ghz
GPU ~ Geforce 210
PSU ~ AVF 450
RAM ~ 2 x 4GB DDR3

I want to upgrade GPU to gtx 750ti / gtx 1050
Need suggestions on :
-Which is better
-Cheapest price you can find? ($150 Amazon Gtx 750ti / $119 Amazon Gtx 1050)
-Will go okay with mobo and cpu?
-Cheapest Mobo Cpu combo to upgrade next (in quite a while)

If I had to choose between the two, I would go for the GTX 1050. Mostly because it is the newer tech, somewhat faster and less money.

Do you plan to game once you get the new card? If so, I'd save for a 1050 Ti or even a 1060. If there's going to be no gaming, go for the 1050.

I would go with the GTX 1050 as it will be faster than the 750 Ti. If you aren't gaming, there is no point in upgrading.

1050 should be much faster than 750Ti. Need to check if the 1050 needs a PCIe power connector, whereas most 750Ti don't. If it does need the power connector, check the PSU has one otherwise you might be looking at messy adapter cables. There is also the GT 1030... performance is kinda comparable to 750 (with or without Ti depending on use), but it is a low power card and will not require a power connector. It should also be cheaper.

So... it depends on use case and how much performance you need.

Yes guys I am going to do gaming, Steam - Warframe, for referrence. Some youtube videos shows 750ti can play at maxed out on 1600x900 (my monitor) settings. And I checked my local online store shows GTX750ti is around rm300 ~ $75 , where GTX1050 around rm600 ~ $150 . I might choose GTX750ti, unless anyone can state a gpu around that cost that has better performance? Thank you.

GTX 1059 Ti vs. GTX 750 Ti in games.

GTX 1050 vs. GTX 750 Ti in games.

There is less difference between GTX 1050 vs. GTX 750 Ti than the GTX 1050 Ti vs. GTX 750 Ti.

This being said, I understand being on a budget. The GTX 750 Ti is a huge boost over the GT 210. Buy what your budget allows.

What games can my (upcoming) rig play ?

My current specs are in my signature and now after few weeks of research on prices and specs I have found few parts to upgrade.
I found these below :
~GPU ~ GTX 750 ti 2gddr5 ($66.16 / MYR 270)
~MoBo ~ H110M-DVS/R3.0 ($53.91 / MYR 220)
~CPU ~ G4560 3.5GHZ /or/ G4600 3.6GHZ (2 core 4 thread, hyper thread available) ($73.51 / MYR 300)

How good is this build?
What games can it play? (My current rig plays Warframe 800x600 on 1600x900 screen manages to get around 10-20 FPS) so any new titles that can play low settings with that range of fps is accepted.
Anything I can improve?
Thanks in advance :D

I think I would have gone with the recommendations that were made in your other thread to look at a GTX 1050 as it should be significantly more powerful than the 750ti (which is now 3 generations old), but nevertheless it will be a vast improvement over your 210. I imagine you will be running 1600x900 at medium settings.

I'm aware of the reccomendations but I cant seem to find any 1050 lower than $125 / MYR 500, and it has only slight fps advantage based on a benchmark on youtube (
).
And also the 750ti is capable of playing maxed out Warframe settings on 1080p (
)
So if not because of budget factor, I would just go for 5.0GHz-6.0GHz cpu with 11gb 1080ti with sli, so yeah. [/sarcastic]

I know someone that bought new and it broke. Clearly there is more risk when buying used, but you seem to feel like its the plague, when its not. Sometimes the cards are still warrantied even. ;)

Well, you do have a point there, sir.
I may have probably just seen a fair share of bad luck. I apologize.

But what if that used ran hot from overclocking or folder 24/7 for a couple years?

90% of my hardware is used and the only things to ever give out on me where from either my abuse or negligence with my cat and soldering irons:D. All joking aside I buy used stuff all the time and don't have issues. You just have to do your research and know what you are buying and from whom.
