GTX 1080 Overclock - Crashing Way below Max Voltage

I realize that your card is running at a good temperature but...
This started with Maxwell and has carried forward to Pascal. Adding voltage typically won't help unless you get the card cooler. By cooler I mean 50°C, not 70°. Even when people water cool these cards they only get a few more MHz out of it. When running stock cooling I have seen that adding more voltage typically just makes it less stable.
 
I agree with EarthDog, never thought of it that way but its the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts I guess. Thanks EarthDog for clearing all this mess up.
