Help Needed With i5 750

My vcore settings are dropping to 1.280 when I start Prime and of course it fails. What setting do I have to change to give me complete control over vcore? The Motherboard is a Gigabyte Ga-P55-UD4 if that makes any difference.

Enable LLC, see if that helps.

It may be the motherboards Vdroop.
I looked and couldn't find a mod

I cleared the cmos and started again. Seems to be ok now except it gets to 70C when running prime @ 4 Ghz.

4 GHz at 70C on air under full load when running prime95 is fine. Heck, when I was running the Intel stock cooler, it topped out at 70C fully loaded at stock speeds (yes it is that sad)

So what's the highest temp one could run at without shortening the life too much? It went to 74C at 4.2 Ghz.

If you do it in short bursts then it shouldn't matter too much. Just don't let it run 75 degrees 24/7
