excusse me..

I'm still newbie in this forum, I need help 2 solve my problem..

I want 2 overclock my memory Corsair CMT6GX3M3A1600C7 2 GB DDR3

now its settings is : 8-8-8-24-2T with DRAM voltage : 1.64V

I want make my memory settings : 7-7-7-20-1T, so guys my question is..
How much DRAM voltage I must fill in BIOS? B
ecause in corsair website say 7-7-7-20-1T with 1,65V..
but in my BIOS there isn't 1.65V, there just 1.64 and 1.66 above

btw this my rig spec
Processor : i7 920 DO 2.66Ghz @3.8Ghz 1,2480V
Mobo : GA-X58A-UD3R
HDD : 1TB Seagate
PSU : Corsair HX850W
Ram : Corsair Dominator GT 3 channel CMT6GX3M3A1600C7 (3X2GB) 8-8-8-24-2T 1.64V
VGA : Palit GTX 480 1536mb
SoundCard : Onboard -> plan want to buy Creative X-Fi Titanium
DvD Rom Drive : LG DVD-RW
OS: Win 7 64bit

I just tested with prime95 in 5minutes n 3DMark06

Is that necessary to test my procie n memory overclock with memtest86+?

venom...if u are going to OC ur RAM or anything u need to ensure reliability. If u OC is not stable alot of unexpected things can turn the whole situation into a nightmare. For example, corrupt data could destory ur windows install of stored data on ur HDDs.
red is absolutely right...test wth memtest. I dont know about u but if my PC cant bench stably at an OCed level then its not an OC and totally not an environment I can use 24/7 - and using the PC is the whole point for the mojority of us;-)
