Hello guys,

I currently have two broadband connections coming into my home. One is cable and the other one is wireless T1. What is the cheapest solution for using these connections simultaneously? What I'd like to do is get something that'd treat the two separate channels as one single channel.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ish

Heh,

I've read something about a multiplexer, but that kind of a solution is $250.

Thanks for the replies!

$250 will get you device that alternates between 2 lines. That is if you load a webpage with 50 picture, ideally 25 will load on one line, and 25 on the other. You will never get 1 file going really fast over those 2 lines.

Any single connection would only go over a single line. So the best you could do is load balance.

If you had two REAL T1s, you could bond those together, but that is with isp cooperation and happens at the link layer.
