Next time just change it in Memtest86+ advanced features. That way when it crashes the BIOS will rePOST in the original values and you can try a different setting in Memtest. Much easier and safer

64 bit = single channel ram not dual channel (which is 128bit) since you have two sticks try putting them in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 which should be dual channel then.
