Drop the GPU to a 7850 and get a better motherboard, it'll be worth it in the long run. Upgrading the motherboard is a pain and you don't want to get one with a lack of features. That's a really low end board, you can't add multiple GPUs and it has a relatively small power delivery section to the CPU, meaning it's not going to overclock that great. Also, GPUs outdate very quickly, so it's a better investment to spend money on the part that lasts a longer time, like a PSU and CPU.

Also, no combo deals?

pretty much what i had it at right around 1100 with a 170 dollar monitor and the naga

This comes out to $1130, not including a $15 Newegg gift card and $35 of mail-in rebates. This can overclock fairly high (4.5GHz+) and supports dual video cards in the future without changing any other part.

Options to change:
  • +$10 to get a 3570K instead of the 2500K. This will perform about the same (faster CPU but doesn't overclock as high, so it balances out) but draws a bit less power and has PCIe 3.0 support.
  • -$5 to get the Rosewill Challenger instead of the Rosewill Future. The main thing you lose is front panel USB 3.0

how did u get the power supply to bundle with the ram i ant find it anywhere

That's a good bit more expensive than what's posted above (above includes a monitor), and I sure as hell am not spending $1100 on a rig with a 550Ti on it.

550Ti is suitable enough for gaming, and anything larger isn't a real benefit unless you're get a Catleap Q270 or a large monitor with very high resolution. The card you selected is simply overkill for the monitor selected where you won't benefit any noticeable performance, but you'll pay a heck of a lot more for something (as you say) gets outdated very quickly.

EDIT: Also, the monitor is crap compared to the one you suggested I buy which cost less.

Suitable enough if you like gaming at ~45 FPS on medium settings. Even cards significantly more expensive than the 7850 can't run games like BF3 at max settings, 60FPS on 1080P.

How is a LG IPS monitor crap....they're the ones who actually make all the IPS panels.

We all know LG makes all the IPS panels, but not all monitors/displays with IPS panels are the same. You can't expect to get any kind of decent speakers in an IPS monitor at that price, and if a monitor does have speakers and is cheap like that, something IMO is being scaled back or sacrificed at that price.

Besides, that display has a stand like a Girraffe neck, which makes it top heavy and easy to fall over plus you can forget a VESA mount. For $10 more, that person could have one like the one I just ordered, which you suggested instead of the LG model. Newegg also has a LG IPS 23" for $20 more than that one without speakers, so why is the one without speakers worth more?
I would think because it is much better quality IPS display plus offers the option of a VESA mount. Suggesting the cheapest part may not always be the best advice unless you actually own one of such product or at least know someone who owns such particular product.

The stand is tall because its telescoping, the display is height adjustable. Look at the side view, the monitor can sit much lower than it does at the height where the pictures are taken.

The OP hasn't stated that he needs any of those features. Frankly, the large majority of people buy a monitor to do one thing. Sit on their desk and display an image. Why would I pay more for a different monitor that has the same LCD panel that will sit on my desk and display the image in the exact same way.

I tend to avoid recommending products based on personal experience. Personal experience usually introduce a large amount of bias and are also influenced by a large amount of variables, some that have nothing to do with the product.

That display looks alright to me. The speakers will be weak but you can't expect a whole lot from built-in monitor speakers. The only other thing I would consider is that it seems to have a bit of light-bleed on the left side (some searching confirms this from multiple reviews). Nevertheless, that will be minimal in games. For the price, it is a great choice.
