4- 120mm (2 rad/intake 2 exhaust)
1- 92mm (psu)
1- 80mm (psu)
1- 60mm (exhaust for spot under pci cards by water pump)
1- 40mm (northbridge)
1- funky fan on GF4 video card

All (except video card) are either on 7volts or variable voltage so that I can tune noise/performance.

Case: a little old Compaq server case...
It's only about 10" wide 2' deep and about 30" tall or so :D

Most of my other machines have just 5 or 6 I think....

Got one in then the psu out on a cheesy midtower. So two.

That doesn't cool close to enough but mostly because of location, but what do you need the obscene numbers some of you guys are running for? A few well placed fans should do the trick and if that doesn't do it for you use a heat pipe.

Midtower Case:

(1) Delta 80mm fan for my SK-7
(1) 120mm Sunon on my case side cover for my vid card
(1) 80mm Sunon on my case side cover for my HSF
(2) 60mm thermaltake for blow hole on case top cover
(2) 80mm Sunon case intake and exhaust fans
(2) fans - Antec TruePower PSU

That's 9 fans.

I run 5 in my chieftech.

2 intakes at bottom
2 exhaust at back
1 window intake

also have a 80mm on cpu and the PS, but those don't count :p

somewhere around 9-12 fans once I finish up with new case..

currently has
4 80mm intakes.
2 120mm intakes
2 80mm exhaust
1 120mm exhaust
1 80mm processor

speeds will be turned down and more fans added when new case is done

Well, I voted 5 since I was only counting case fans. There are a few more though:

1 x 50CFM/92mm Front Intake
1 x 50CFM/92mm Side Intake
2 x 30CFM/80mm Rear Exhaust
1 x 40CFM/92mm Top Exhaust
1 x unknown/40mm on Copper Iceberq
1 x 28CFM/60mm on JAC313C (v/c)
1 x 75CFM/80mm on SK-7 (CPU)

I also have a 131CFM YS-Tech I am installing, plus a whole pile of 92 & 80's I might be adding.

:sn:

I run my stuff water chilled, but that dosent mean I cant have fun fans :D

Ive got 1 on vid card
1 on the hdds
1 120mil I stuck in the front because I won it, have nothing else to do with it, and because it has pretty lights
My waterchiller has one too- Its kinda part of the case.

im going to have 5 fans in the case i'm currently modding.

2 intake front
1 intake side panel
1 exhaust back of case
1 exhaust top of case

i read it's better to have more intake. so there ya go :)

2 x 25CFM Nidec Beta V M33414 0.11A (Front Intake)
2 x 25CFM Nidec Beta V M33414 0.11A (Exhaust)
1 x ??CFM Chieftec-branded (Side Panel)

All 80mm

Voted before i read that you should include all fans, not just case fans.. So i only voted for 1.

1 Case (enermax 120 at lowest)
2 external on Radiators (enermax 120 at lowest)
2 in PSU (Antec 80 and 92)
1 on GPU (soon to be replaced by Zalman Heatpipe)

i wonder if anyone really has no fans or if its phase-change or something...

budy of mine does, he uses one of those Via Cyrix 800Mhz ones. all ompact and stuff.. however it is open case. only fan is in PSU and its very small, just to keep it from over heating. very quiet

I as well voted for just the case cans. But here's the list of them all.

- 2 X 80mm intake (front)
- 2 X 80mm exaust (rear)
- 1 X 80mm intake (side panel)
- 1 X 60mm CPU fan (Delta black label)
- 4 X 60mm Hdd coolers ( 2 per cooler)
- 1 X 40mm northbridge
- 1 X 40mm GPU cooler
- 1 X 92mm (on PSU)
- 1 X 80mm (on PSU)

*edit* Oops forgot the case. Aopen HT-08 full tower.
