As always I have a busted MB :( I prepped the MB with Liquid Electrical tape and then bent the socket pins :( IIRC this is the place MR. Scott recommended to repair busted sockets - https://ps3specialist.com/.
I asked if I needed to remove the liquid electrical tape from just around the socket or all of it. Here is the response I got back : For the CPU socket to be replaced the entire motherboard has to heated in order to prevent it from getting warped so if your material will burn or melt by heating them it must be cleaned off the motherboard but if not then cleaning the area around the CPU socket should be enough.
I don't know if L.E. will melt or burn - so just clean around the socket - OR - clean the L.E. completely off the board??
The MB in question is my EVGA z390 Dark $450~$500 or ~$125 total for repairing the socket.

Thank You for your time :)

I have an idea for you.
Step one is make sure your wife / significant other is gone for a while.
Step two, find an old un-needed component to test - insulate it with liquid tape.
Step three, test bake the part in a 450 deg.f. oven for 30 minutes or so.
Step four, open all the windows & air out the place before anyone gets home.
If the test stands up to the baking (without needed to air out the house :)) you can probably just get it away from your mobo socket & not have to clean off the entire board.
