i tried to oc my monitor which i never tried before, but how do you tell if it worked?

i used this guide http://www.tweaktown.com/tweakipedi...s-pb278q-monitor-2560x1440-at-85hz/index.html

ccc only shows maximum reported refresh rate with at 1080p is 75hz, but im using 2560x1440 which at default is 60 but i have pushed it to 75.

just need a way to check it is at 75hz at 2560x1440. if i push to 80hz when i reboot i get out of range on monitor but it still displays the picture and amd does show as 80hz.

monitor is DGM IPS-2701WPH

edit this test says it is at 75hz but not sure how accurate it is http://www.testufo.com/#test=framerates&count=3&background=none&pps=960

Try enabling vsync and see if it matches your refresh rate... that is the only way I know of.

ok why didn't i think of that lol. my old monitors were 76hz but vsync still droped it to 60 or up to 120, but i'll try it

That was my worry... sometimes it does not show for whatever reason. I have no clue... sorry.
