Hi everyone!
I've already briefly talked about this in my build thread, but now I have to (at least partially) decide.
My goal is to OC a 4770k to 4.5-4.7 with good temperatures, not interested in anything extreme.
1)
Option one is to buy a 6-months-old (more or less) XSPC kit (EX360, D5 pump) from my uncle. I can buy it for around €120, probably even less since he's not actually interested in money (my little cousin is doing very bad in school and downgrading its gaming pc is a form of punishment).
I know that it's a good kit, but I've always used air coolers and I'm afraid of doing stupid things.
2)
Go for a high-end HSF like a Noctua NH-D14 or Phanteks PH-TC14PE. I don't really like those massive coolers (aesthetically speaking), but they're easy to install and they won't leak.
3)
Go for a high-end AIO like a Kraken X60, H220 or Eisberg 240. They seem to have performance superior to high-end HSFs and they are usually backed by some leaking warranty. Obviously they are quite costly compared to HSFs, but money is not really a massive problem.
What's your advice?
