Intel. Core 2, whichever you like. Wolfdales are the best dual core right now, although a conroe would improve you score immensely, even at stock speed. Intel quad core is good for 3DMark06, dual core is fine for the rest of 3d benchmarks.

It's perfectly fine

If it gets way hotter at high clockes just turn the fan speed up

Nice rig man, one thing you need to change in your hwbot tag(s) is to remove the ' from the scores, the bot can't scan them otherwise. So your tag for this score would look like this:

Single ATi card is just really weak in AM3...I think the score is okay for what it is. With the 2900's I remember something around 25k gained going to CF and that was just on air.
