Hello,
I built my current system in 2011 and all of a sudden about a week ago I started getting blue screens of death crashes. I hadn't seen one of them since the XP days. I know it would be almost anything causing this problem so I think I am going to build a new system. A few simple questions this time and more to come I am sure.

I know solid state HD's are the new best thing for storage so I would buy all SSHD's is it as easy to transfer my saved data from my old hard drives to t he SSD's ? I guess that is the first think I need to know so I can plan on what other hardware to buy.

I'll leave it at that question for now. if I remember seagate has tools that help you transfer the data.

I appreciate any and all help.

To admin, sorry I didn't really know which forum to post this is since I will be buying everything new. After I get some answers to my HD questions then I'll go to the MB,CPU,memory forums to ask questions about good products.

Moved to Storage since this is actually about ssd... :)

Most SSDs will come with a program to easily clone your drives. But since you are making a pretty huge leap hardware wise, I would recommend installing Windows fresh for the most stable results.

As far as your build, make one thread in general hardware. ;)
