i already have an socket am3 mobo and 4gb ddr3 ram+hd 5570 1gb.i will do some light gaming like far cry1, 2 on 1368*768 low quality,net surfing ,playing 1080p videos, editing some photos(photoshop cs6)...so could this cpu handle that all.

I would not see why the setup you mention and the settings you mention would not work out for you. As always the proof is in the doing since you 'already' have the parts and test and see what the outcome actually is.
