So i always see people talking about ambient temperature with water cooling results and i never see a report where the ambient temp is under 70 Fahrenheit. Is there a reason for this? Do you have to make sure you have a specific ambient temp for water cooling?
Exactly. Most people keep their house right around 70F so that's the normal ambient. If you were to kick up your air conditioning and cool your house to 60F you would see a near equal drop in your water temps.
Some people create a very long loop that allows them to keep the radiator outside the computer case and then immerse the radiator in ice water or even hang it outside a window in cold winter weather. There can be a problem with condensation on the water block and lines inside the case if you do that, however.
