Xception said:I just got off the phone with Randy from Komusa. (nice guy) and ordered 2 more sticks of hyperam (pc4200) to go with the two (got in March) I already have. I told him the ones I have will do 292 3,4,4,8 and wanted to know if the ones he has now would do the same and he said it is still the same chips on the ram. I told him how great the previous set was and hoped the new ones would do the same and he said they couldn't guarantee them above their rated spec of 266. He never mentioned hand testing for an extra $20 but I'm going to keep my fingers crossed.
He said theyre DDR600 still had some issues with certain video cards (Nvidia) but they were still working on it.
I didnt know ram had anything to do with video cards but admittedly I am no Einstein.

billiam said:I just spoke to randy, he said that he can hand select memory modules for me. Do you think an extra $40 is worth it? $300 for 1024 isnt that bad i guess, if it can reach high fsb with decent timings
