Hi. I am looking to by a large amount of thermal grease. I need it to put under my hard drive between my hard drive block and the PCB.

Does any one know any companies who make cheap thermal grease for sale in large quantities?

I imagine it should be possible for me to make my own low quiality stuff too.

Anyone got any good Ideas?

Im gonna post in cyber deals too

thanks.

well the thing is the bottom of my hard drive isn't exactly flat.

second when i soldered my copper pipe/aluminium plate together the aluminum plat got slightly warped, so its not completly flat either.

I dont know about you but I kinda doubt the thermal conductivity of air, and the hard drive is going to be completly surrounded by foam.
