Logon Screen maker

hello all
i was wondering if anyone knew of a free logon screen maker, or boot screen maker, i know that there is some things like StyleXP, but i want to make a screen with my own GIF or JPEG image, and customize the buttons

There used to be a way of doing it in Windows by renaming the ntoskrnl.exe file. The came along SP1 and the file you had to change was ntoskrnlsp1.exe. I don't know of any free programs that let you do that. And changing it the old fashion way was a pain.
You may try Window Blinds @ http://www.stardock.com/ Not sure if it is free. I think some of thier stuff is.

tried that but it doesnt MAKE screens from JPEG files, does anyone know of a program that does that?
