Here's the last CPU bench for this year's Marathon, I've also decided to put a speed cap of 5.0 GHz on all Intel and 4.5 GHz on any Ryzen based CPU. This should help get people tweaking. As we all know SPi loves tweaking.

What: SuperPi 32M Limited 5.0 GHz Intel and 4.5 GHz Ryzen
Who: any forum member
CPU: any CPU
Cooling: any cooling type
When: Ends: December 31, 12 Midnight EST
Background: Use supplied background
Download :SPI 32M Rules
Full Competition Rules: Here
I would also like this format used at the top of your post please UserName/CPU/Cooling/ Score

One to open with... guess I have to attack the ram again later.

Edit: I had checked on hwbot before submitting this, and it didn't list any subs from me for this CPU. After I sent it, then it showed up, and was around 20 seconds faster! What was different last time? Tighter ram timings. Ok, I applied those and... it got me 1 sec over this sub. I'm missing something here...

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Tried to figure out what was different between my old fast sub and today's earlier not so good sub. Tried disabling spectre/meltdown patches in Win10 which did nothing. Then I noticed, the last run was on Win7. I still have a spare Win7 disk around, so let's try that. It booted but was no surprise I couldn't do anything with it as no USB or network drivers. Took the drive into another system and downloaded a best guess of driver updates. In short, I got networking but apparently there doesn't exist a Win7 USB3 driver for Z390 chipset. I got lucky when using the Z370 before as that did have one. The mobo did have a PS2 connector on it, so after digging around managed to find a PS2 mouse and that gave me limited control. Enough to enable VNC so I can access it from another system. Fine, let's try a run. Installed XTU, turned up the clock and got this sub. Disconnected VNC before the run and use the PS2 mouse to start it, to save on CPU cycles. It'll do for now, but this is no way to bench. As insane as it sounds I think I'll have to buy a set of PS2 keyboard and mouse. The current mouse is horrible but works. I'm fairly sure I have a PS2 keyboard somewhere too, but initial excavations did not locate it.

Kenrou, did you use the Bulldozer Conditioner?

Just noticed i have one of the tabs wrong though, ill re-run and edit the pic in a few.

Disable the NRAC block and fix if it gives you the option. Works until you reboot

It's quite simple Steveo, if you have the software in post #11 I told Kenrou how to use it. It really doesn't do much but let X87 run faster on FX by removing a block.
