Yep, that's FlareX 3200 Cl14

and second one just to compare, above is memory at 4800 17-17-17 CR2, below is 3600 12-12-12 CR1, results almost the same

My current memory kits can't boot at 3700+ and CL12 regardless of voltages.

Nice Woodmack. Can you show us your sub timings for the 3600.

Nice Woodmack. Can you show us your sub timings for the 3600.

I don't remember and I've never saved sub-timings. 3600 CL12 was on a typical profile for Samsung B CL12 4000+ (it slightly changes depends on memory kit) ... my memory simply can't make more than 3600 at really tight timings.
I was thinking about new memory kit but they're so random that I'm not sure what I get and I don't really need additional costs right now.
Not to mention that on Ryzen you need different settings so whatever I will show you on Intel, probably won't really help.

You can check what timings are at SPD/auto settings and use the same timings at higher clock. On Samsung it works good up to 3200-3600 and will give you an idea what to change when any problems appear (compare to auto at higher clock and you will see what significantly goes up).
Also Johan submitted result at tight memory settings on Ryzen so maybe can give you advice. I have X470 mobo somewhere but don't have the CPU to run any tests.

Thanks Woomack for your time and the info. I all ways check yours and Johan post very carefully and get all the info I can. Be it AMD or Intel
I Have Samsung B Die 4000 in one of my Ryzen system Too.:thup:
(Pending Ryzen 3000) plus there's no real Bios that work well with it . Have you tried 3766 cl16 or cl14, cold Ryzen will boot it, but not bench .
(still working on it).

So far 3600 seems to be the most consistent on my board. There's a new BIOS that peeps are raving about but it doesn't look THAT much better to me from what I have read.

Johan45 this is a run with the ram set at 3733 (off hwbot, not mine !!!),with FlareX on air, chilled Ryzen.

@Johan Looking good man!!

Have you guys tried WAZA (little tweak that involves moving a file from one hard drive to another which creates more available memory in the OS)? It makes a huge difference, about 10-15 seconds on DDR4 and you can get it working in Windows 7 even.
