Nothing too exciting. Next session should improve a lot considering the only think holding me back from a nice score was the MSI AB clock limit of 1175MHz I did flash the BIOS to the unlocked version, so I'm not sure why my clocks were still limited. http://www.hwbot.org/submission/217...age___performance_geforce_gtx_580_39157_marks
Follow the link I posted and go all the way to the bottom. There was an issue with the first things Sham posted. The last 2 links have AB and a special bios. I think you need the correct software+bios combo to get the extra volts and high clocks.
I've only played with the sliders, never actually applied the settings.
Yep, I read that a few weeks ago, I had the 580 on an AX1200 all by itself tonight and saw a max of 980W at the wall And that was at only 1200MHz with 1.4V
But I ran into other issues with the session and had bad results with the GPU beyond 1200MHz....but with only 2 liters of LN2 leftover from my session last week, I wasn't too worried about it, I got everything else done with dry ice at 1200MHz
This was all done with jiccman1965's cherry CPU...thanks bro I owe you a
After those runs, I swapped in a GTX 285 to run 01, but the rig got very unstable....after a teardown, I found the Acetone was leaking out of the Gemini pot (even though I had duct taped it) at the gap, and was causing issues.....until next time
