Hey. Don't know if this falls under the audio devices or the OS area of the thread.

Pretty much, headset works fine using XP. I installed Windows Vista Ultimate, updated to SP1, have the latest audio drivers from Creative(lawl), and it tells me my microphone is currently unavailable in the Sound options in the control panel. If I right click it and give it priority, it shows working, but whenever I talk, I hear the feedback in my headset(another annoyance), however nothing is getting picked up by any audio recording software or if I go on vent.

Sound card is an X-FI XtremeMusic, like I said I just updated to latest drivers for the card.. Any advice? This is getting to be quite annoying. :bang head
