I am not an Internet Explorer user but just for informational purposes, I'd like to know what these Windows .dll files do, why do they send data out of your system and try to "register" themselves.
After you disable all Internet Explorer's auto update checks, a browser should only get intercepted sending data in/out when you visit an internet page.
However, an additional series of intercepts takes place.
I will edit this post as they happen, I reimage my system frequently so I've noticed this each and every time I reimage... it'll be easy for me to catch them. The system is fully updated Windows 8.0 with Internet Explorer 10.
01. C:\Windows\SysWOW64\mshtml.dll is intercepted as an ActiveX Control trying register itself.
02. C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\QUICKTIME ALTERNATIVE\QTSystem\QTPlugin.ocx
