Mother updates more problems than fixs asus

Hi i was wondering what are mods views on motherboard updates last time i did it on my p8p67 board it made more problems than fixs example every time i shut down windows i had to hold in the power button and it wudnt even let me revert back to the old bios it ended up havin to remove the batttery and lose all my oc settings so shud i do it on my x99 asus or not ??

Most mother board updates are fine. Just follow the instructions found in the manual.

I didn't pay attention in English ha and yea I was asking becuz last time with Asus the updates was a nightmare.

I cant speak to all Asus boards, however the four listed in my signature had no problems with BIOS updates thus far.
