How can I tell if my mobo is fried. Well, not neccissarily fried but dead at least. Would it power my fans and components? Heres the symptoms:
Turn on the power, fans spin up and monitor light turns yellow, then the monitor light turns amber.
I don't think its my CPU cause i just got a new one (fried the old one
) And I don't think its the vid card because I stuck an old 16MB card in and it still wouldn't work. Only other thing hooked up is the RAM, so if its not that it has to be the mobo. Or am I missing something Its all hooked up outside the case on a wooden desk to prevent anything from being grounded or shorted unintentionally.
