after i disabled page files i have volmgr errors and i guess a short freeze or 2 to desktop.

i was told games wont use page files if it was disabled as many hardcore gamers do .
but i got those error messages and freezes now ive set min and max to 2gb errors stopped and the pc felt faster

i really dont think disabling page files is a good idea . it made win 8.1 very unstable
beside the above error it prevented windows from booting

am setting it to 2gb then :comp: i wont recommend this ever again.
knowing that lots of gamers do it .

If disabling the page file caused instability, you most likely have a memory issue.

I've never had any issues disabling page file on XP, 7, 8, or 8.1

i have the ram on xmp 2400 and doing ok.

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=369618

it appeared before , i mean you cant tell really , when the error may have many reasons
it would be hard for me to say but it could be a less stable ram sequence .
i can test it at bios default ram speed 1333 . but i guess ill settle on stable 2400 hz ram
2 gb page files not needing to dig after that error .
i mean i have no way to tell my ram is not stable . its doing strong .

Memtest86+ and/or Prime95 Blend will test your RAM.

I know the issue is related to RAM, because when you cut off page filing it all gets loaded to the RAM instead.

i dont have an empty cd/dvd to print mem test 86
and i dont like the idea of using prime 95 on stock fan as i still didnt
install a water cooler .
maybe its the 2400 frequency ? i gamed with this ram on star citizen at
high for hours also the system is very stable .
dunno if there other ram tests

You can use a USB stick instead of a disk.

Prime95 will be fine on a stock cooler at stock speeds.

Can you post a link to the exact RAM you bought?

Okay, except your temperatures are still in the low 30° range.

Have fun reporting me :)

For what? nothing to see here.

that was after i closed real in fault reaction to close prime95
the temp was 99c as 3 cores logged and 1 remained
think of it you should be reported u nearly cost me my 2000 usd pc
and i have 16 gb ram

i closed real and reopened it

3 cores logged at 99c and he say its safe it wasnt torture test even

did my cpu got damaged or faulty thermal ?
he should be asked for this

The stock cooler is meant to keep the CPU under 105°C, which it did.

It'll throttle back and/or go into thermal shutdown before hurting the chip.

I think this is like blaming McDonalds for making you fat.

We tell people to run bench utilities all of the time. Honestly this sounds more like you just don't know what you're doing here.

These people are here, and willing, to help you.

you you where telling me its gonna hit tj max ? and lock down risking a chip ?
i never allow my cpu to go after 85c
you said it will be fine and you where wrong .
i would blame mc if he told my son to eat 10 sandwiches every day and
it will harm him
you are not being a good judge and he was mistaking .
