I have an Abit AM2 mobo that needs a new part. The black plastic ring around the CPU that the cpu heatsink attaches to to hold it on. Where in the world would I get one of these things?

On ebay you can usually pick up a dead AM2/AM2+ mobo for cheap. They usually advertise them for "parts". Not sure if you have access to ebay where your live, i.e., I'm not sure what country your are in. Or maybe someone on ebay has the bracket for sale by itself. People who install aftermarket CPU coolers that have a backplate retention mechanism sometimes are willing to part with the plastic bracket.
