So are the below all around the same and best in the market atm?
What one out fo these 3 are the best?

That board and cpu will not be a happy marriage at all. AMD FX processor in an Intel socketed mobo.
RGone...ster.

Since you have a pretty stout FX-4170; I might just get this > Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 Motherboard (AMD 990FX, 4x DDR3 RAM, SATA 6GB/s, ATX, USB 3.0, … £134.98 < and just SEE how far FX-4170 will go on the cooling you have and then you will know that it takes some very big water to hit the big cpu mhz. You can certainly upgrade the cpu on the Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 at any time. Get your feet wet with overclocking. You might even want to then just go with 6 core for gaming since the FX-8350 is overkill for gaming and is HOT when pushed.

Ok so i will forget about that one lol, im still learning.

So out of the 3 below what is the best or are they mostly all the same?
Also should i look for better than a AMD FX8350 or will i not see much of a diffrents on a better one?

Ok cooling how i find out what i have if i have one at all?

Ok cooling how i find out what i have if i have one at all?

What is cooling the cpu right now?

What computer case do you have.

How many fans are installed in the case right now? Are they all the cheap OEM fans that came with the case?

See the list is endless in questions to be answered when "building" a rig.

You might consider making a signature with what is in the box now. Then we can build on that.
Put up Sig at OCF.

New Shortcut method for putting a Signature with your system information following your every post so people can know what is in the case that they are trying to assist with. You can use something like what is shown in my signature as a good template of needed information Thank you.

EDIT:
Probably getting close to 10AM your time and only getting close to 4AM my time. Got to go take a nap.

Ok i looked inside case and here is what i find with fans.

Case
http://www.amazon.co.uk/DESKTOP-COM...grid_i_2_0/280-5382280-1375706#productDetails

AMD Cooler Master ( Don't know what one , but the lable on it is green with AMD Cooler Master on it )

Case Cooler JX DV 12v 0.13A

GTX 770 OC 2GB - Has two fans on it. -New

Corair CX750M PSU - New

EDIT
Added Sig
END

PSU is good. Video card is reasonably good. Hard to tell from your description about the CPU cooler what it actually is.

About the case. The description offered by the Amazon link is not very informative. The important thing is the air flow. How many fans are pushing air into the front of the case from the front side (intake fans) and how many are exhausting it out the top and/or the back?

Perhaps the most helpful thing would be to have you take the side panel off the case and take digital pic of the inside. Attach the pic with a post. To attach a pic, click on the Go Advanced button at the bottom of any new post window. This will cause the advanced post window to pop up. Then click on the little paperclip tool at the top which will cause the file browser/upload tool to appear. The rest will be obvious.

How to actually attach images to the forum and not use a link to some outside location where image is stored. Store the image within the forum.

You can attach more than 3 pics at one time by going back up to browse another file and uploading it.

Ok took some images for you hopfuly you can see from the 13 images i uploaded.

Stock AMD cooler that comes boxed with the CPU. What I can't see from your pics is if there are intake fans in the front panel. Looks like there is one fan on the side panel and one in the rear.

There is no intake fans in the front panel , only what you see in the images is what i have.

So the AMD Cooler on the CPU is the default one i got with the AMD FX 4170 i take it then.

So i take it i need a btter CPU Fan too?

Case > Galaxy 3 Gamers Style Midi Tower Case = That case is not what would be called an overclocking case at all. No room in case for even a dual fan radiator at the top since the power supply is up there and that takes away most of the area for a radiator of consequence.

When you consider the case is out, the mobo is out, the cpu cooler is out...well it seems a too large project to just say overclock an FX processor and do it where it works well and cheaply in the same sentence.

What I probably would do IN your situation:
Parts and links are shown from NewEgg Usa. Buy where you must where you live.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131874
ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 AM3+ AMD 990X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan

A fan for the rear of the case is necessary, blowing air out.
If there is a place in the front of the case, then you need one blowing into the case there.

You need at least those items and then use your FX-4170 with a very mild overclock to maybe 4.3Ghz or a little more since the cooling is going to be the "limiting" factor. Because your current mobo is flashed to the latest bios for gaming and will not allow your previous overclocking.

Optional CPU below.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113327
AMD FX-6350 Vishera 3.9GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor FD6350FRHKBOX
That cpus stock clock with 6 cores is 3.9Ghz with TurboCore to about 4.2Ghz.

Yeah, maybe I was wrong on second look about there being an exhaust fan in the rear panel. Don't see any screw heads showing so there must not be. Not good deal. Good case ventilation is as important as a good CPU cooler. If you are not removing the warm air from the case then you will be using it to try and cool the CPU.

So getting the below
Price For Both: £316.77
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard (AMD 990FX/SB950, DDR3, S-ATA 600, ATX, PCI-Express 2.0, … £167.98
AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor (4.0/4.2GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 8MB Level 2 Cache, Socket … £148.79

Will it not fix in the case or somthing?
Or will i need a new case to get the above?

You do not pay attention to somebody trying to help save you money and still get some fair overclock.

NO getting all of that and sticking it in a case that has no air flow. No room for much of a water cooling setup; to me is just a freeken waste of good money. However suit yourself.
RGone...

If your case is a mid tower case the Sabertooth motherboard should fit. If you upgrade the CPU cooler, however, you need to check and measure the case. Most of the tall tower-style air coolers are based on a 120mm fan and are about 160mm tall. Many cases are not wide enough to accommodate their height and still be able to get the side panel on.

So many people come here looking for help with these little heat pumps not really understanding how important it is to get a good airflow going in your case. If you plan on any type of an OC with your case there is no chance that your fans will be able to get rid of the heat generated buy the VRM's and CPU socket never mind the CPU itself.

Bassnut, I agree. I think his first purchase ought to be a roomier case with better airflow. It's a foundational component to success in overclocking. Otherwise, OP is just asking for frustration.

I am paying attention.

So to over clock the below i need a better cooling system and a better case for room to fit cooling system in.
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z Motherboard (AMD 990FX/SB950, DDR3, S-ATA 600, ATX, PCI-Express 2.0, … £167.98

But saying that will the below fit in the tower i have at the moment and still be able to run it at 4.2ghz turbo boost without issues? or will i still need a better cooling system?
