yes, it's much better than the old 8350, for 170 bucks it looks like it was worth the 30 bucks over the 8350.
if you have one of the new 0 rpm fan gpu's, make sure to let the card cool for a while before tinkering around in the case, man, the 980 I have in it right now is blistering hot!!!!!! ( I just found out the stupid way).
