new ram, different batch?

as title says, i want to add another 16 gb ram of corsair vengeance 1600. can i just grab a pack of them or do they need to be same batch, revision etc? of course i will get same ram

As long as its the same ram (timings also match), it should work just fine

yes its the same timings i think, 9-9-9-24?. but the sticks need to be same size too? or can i put in some 8gb sticks(i have 4gb sticks now)?

You generally want to match the sizes as well as the timings to avoid as many possibilities for issues as you can.
