Long Beach, April 19, 2014, 13:30 PST - Rouchon Industries Inc., d/b/a/ Swiftech® today announced the release of their new Apogee™ XL flagship waterblock. The XL promises enhanced thermal and hydraulic performance compared to its long line of award winning predecessors, and it ships with 4 interchangeable color plates to allow modders to match the block lighting to that of their custom build, a welcome feature for all enthusiast builders. The Apogee™ XL is compatible with all current Intel® and AMD® desktop processors, and ships with installation hardware for both. Legacy Intel® processors compatible with socket 775 and 1366 are also supported in option. “The Apogee™ XL is manufactured in high volume since it will also be at the core of the upcoming and highly anticipated H220-X CPU cooling kit, and because of these economies of scale, we are able to offer it for sale at a very reasonable $64.95 MSRP”, said Gabriel Rouchon, Swiftech’s chairman and CEO.

The product is now shipping to Swiftech® Channel partners worldwide.

One of the better blocks gets a bit of colored bling and a really great price. I can't wait to see some reviews.

Dammit Jeremy, you beat me to the announcement as I was reading about it this morning. lol I was thinking of waiting till they release the new pump. Should be seeing that soon I hear.

Really impressed with its price point. I think we should thank Raystorm for the competition. I believe that XSPC block did well and basically paved the way the price of this block was going to be. I love competition. Nice to see WBs for almost $50 less from only a few years ago that come with bling.

ooooh nice
got to learn to love the looks of it , -not every block can look as cool as the Koolance 360/370 did- , but it doesn't matter.. its the performance that matters.

So, Rouchon should send at least one to Martin :)

one of the better looking swiftech blocks I have seen...interested to see how it performs.
