I'm planning to build a new pc with a 2600k and a gtx 570. I'm having a really hard time deciding on which motherboard to use. These are the boards i've been looking at.

ASRock P67 EXTREME4 B3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157229

GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD4-B3 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128478

MSI P67A-GD55 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130573

I know ASRock is the parent company of Asus, but i don't really care for Asus boards as i've had bad luck with them. I've owned a few MSI boards, but never anything by ASRock or Gigabyte. I don't plan to overclock right away, but having that as an option once i get the system up would be nice. I will be using the system for gaming, video conversions, movies...just about everything. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

+1 for the ASRock P67 EXTREME4 B3. Great board with great features, just set my dad up on one and was thoroughly impressed. Wouldn't think twice about getting one for myself if I was building a system today. Cheaper too, not much for bling though - very industrial looking.

Im in the same boat ill be ordering my stuff in a few days. Im leaning to the ASUS P8P67 PRO over the GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD4-B3 because I like the features of UEFI. Im just not 100% sold yet...

Thanks for the replies so far. I'm leaning towards the GA-P67A-UD4-B3. I've had the most experience with MSI, but from what i've read the Gigabyte board is better. I will decide before monday so it will ship out faster from Newegg. :attn:

Can't comment on the UD4's BIOS, however I recently build a SB system for my buddy, and set him up with that board. Really a fan of the construction and layout. Quality was very good. My only gripe is that the front audio pins are located above the first PCIe slot. Still, if I was building a SB system and not concerned about budget, I wouldn't hesitate on it.

good quality post, any reasons why? pros and cons? have you used this board and why would you recommend it?

And Your post helped?? And judging by his sig he is using a Sabertooth p67 and I would assume he likes it and that's why he suggested it!

I'm looking to upgrade my son from his S775 platform and I'm leaning towards the Sabertooth myself, I know you stated you weren't a big fan of Asus but I have had very good luck them for years. My second choice would be the GIGABYTE GA-P67A, but most of those boards you posted are all in the same price range and are pretty decent so I think any of them would suit you fine.

i couldn't possibly help on this subject as according to my sig i run an am3 setup, all sb boards clock practically the same so there must be a reason he suggested the saber tooth as they all have almost identical performance.
