Hi all, so I havent done any water cooling before, but I have built my own computer's for the last 6-7 years or so. I have finally decided to take the step and build a very nice PC and make it liquid cooled. I just have some questions on parts etc etc. I will link my graphics cards and my cpu below so you all can see which ones im using, I will only be water cooling those components.

GPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487002

CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116940

Now below I will link the parts I think I should get (again no experience) so please help me if you see something that is wrong. All components will be from Frozencpu.com

Liquid - Distilled water + .99 pure silver

Connections x7 - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2..._19mm_OD_12_x_34_-_Black.html?tl=g30c409s1609

Connections x6 - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2...ion_Fitting_-_Deep_Black.html?tl=g30c409s1611

Pump - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1..._Pump_-_Black_MCP35X2-BK.html?tl=g30c107s1598

Radiator x2 - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...Profile_Split_Fin_Radiator.html?tl=g30c95s160

Reservoir - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...-_Clear_-_Revision_2_15033.html?tl=g30c97s168

Tubing - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...4_OD_-_Laboratory_Tubing.html?tl=g30c457s1151

CPU Block - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...emacy_Elite_-_Intel_2011.html?tl=g30c325s1572

GPU Block - http://www.frozencpu.com/products/2..._Ti_-_AcetalNickel.html?tl=g30c311s1996#blank

The case im using is http://www.caselabs-store.com/mercury-s8/

Again I am brand new to this and I know im missing some things. If yall could be so kind to help me out and let me know about the parts ive picked, etc! Thanks so much!!

First and foremost welcome to OCFs! :D

Before we proceed in picking parts have you read and researched the basics of watercooling? That includes your aim of delta-T, noisy or quiet build and most importantly the maintenance required for the loop.

Let us know your knowledge first before we proceed because this process is very important before purchasing. Skipping this process as some have, has had its consequences. Than we can look at the parts list and most important what case will all this be installed too because there can be compatibility issues.

I do know the maintenance involved for the loop. I'm not to concerned with noise level, although I dont want it to sound like a jet airplane in my room lol.

why such a weak gpu? i know you're spec'n two of them, but i'd at least start with 770s...

what case is this going in?

I don't like either of your radiator choices, one because it's thin and the other because it's cross flow and thin; seems gimmicky and thin radiators have a lower flow rate.

quick disconnects have a reduced flow rate and are usually just used in one particular area to help remove an iteam (like before and after the gpu's). most people use them as a place to break the loop for drainage and maintenance. ((plus, you need both the male and female sides to connect them.))

it doesn't look like you've read up enough on the subject and i'd HIGHLY suggest you do READ READ READ.

Agreed.

Regarding the GPU, you'd better go with high end stuff like a GTX780ti or a 290x.

You'll save money on the GPU block and radiator, and won't have the hassle of a multi GPU's setup.

Your rads don't match up in FPI count. Again, take your time on this. Read up a bit more.

While I do some more research, any chance you all good recommend some good radiator's?

Ok I read this thread here http://www.overclockers.com/beginners-guide-water-cooling/ in its entirety. Had some great information and I changed a LOT of parts in my original post.

Glad to hear you started. Here's another thread with with many links as the one you posted incase you missed the others.

Also check these very important sites out once you're done reading those stickies.

Martinsliquidlab
SkinneeLabs

Lots of information so take your time on this. Once you're set we should than proceed with the part listing and goals for this project. :salute:

Ok read over some of those also. My main goal for this project is to have fun (already am!) and to get something that will keep my parts cool, look great, and not be as noisy as fans are!
