Does overclocking void your waranty?
Is it worth wile to buy the extended 1 - 2 year waranty from new egg purches? what items is the waranty not worth purchasing?

in a word. Yes. OC'ing will void your warranty.

As for the extended warranty I would ask you what you are buying. If you are buying something from a company that has a track record for screwing the consumer over? Get the warranty. If you bought something that has a company with great customer service behind it and the item is known to be fairly stout then I wouldn't worry about it. I have yet to buy any extended warranties from newegg myself.
