Hi,
I have a e8400 + p5q-e mobo configuration coming in and i wanted to know
Which is better/stable/cooler? and yes i do plan to overclock...
OCZ reapers or Crucial Ballistix tracer?

Which models are you specifically looking at?

OCZ has been doing pretty well lately, and I haven't really heard good things about Crucial anymore, they seem to have dropped off a little in their high end stuff.
I would lean toward OCZ but that totally depends on which kits you want to get.

Since your mobo is DDR2, I would recommend these. The low voltage stuff is supposed to be golden.

These too, they're a little faster for almost the same price. Also low voltage stuff. I don't know which one has the better ICs though(better for overclocking), I haven't been keeping up on that.

For the Ballistix...yes. Mine died in less than 6 months. They do have a lifetime warranty, so if you don't mind that they go out and dealing with the RMA's, go for it. IMO, the led's are way too bright. I just threw mine away and went I7 instead.
