:welcome: to OCForums!

First, you posted in the wrong section. You should have put this in "Intel CPUs" not "Overclockers News Team."

As for your problem, you are trying to go way too high on the FSB with way too low vcore. You should use the 9x CPU multiplier and shoot for 400MHz FSB. On the Q6600, 3.6GHz is a good OC.

We also need more system specs. What cooling, motherboard, and RAM do you have? You could post CPU-Z mainboard, memory, and SPD tabs.

First time i did it at 3,6 an worked well without a problem fsb 400 and multiplayer 9,after i default and started it again and is it not working anymore
I got Q6600 ga ep45t-ud3rl, 4GB DDR3-1333 Kingston, 1TB Seagate HDD,GeForce 9800GT,Power supply 530 W

So, 9x400 works fine with no problems at all. What do you mean by "i default and started it again and is it not working anymore" it's unclear what you actually did from this statement.

You shouldn't even try a 500MHz FSB on a Q6600. 400-425MHz will probably be as high as the chip will go for 24/7 use. What cooling do you have on the CPU? Cooling is a big factor in OCing.

Also, is your RAM config 4x1GB or 2x2GB?
